We had a great experience with Dog Guard. The installation was fast, my dog responded very quickly to the fencing, and the training was easy! After trying Halo, Pet Safe, and other dog training equipment, I have been overwhelmed by how much I prefer this and feel like my dog is safe and contained!
We are very satisfied with our fence! We have 4 dogs, and they all learned their boundaries quickly. We love our fence! We have two dogs, one of which is large and very determined. After trying several Amazon products, I did not think we would find anything that would keep her in the yard. We live in the woods and our dogs chased deer miles away from the house, sometimes taking hours to find them. Ervin worked with her and tried different collar strengths til he found the perfect one for her. We have had zero escapes and we've had our fence for about a year now. We could not be happier. I am very confident to just leave the door open and let them run. They have NEVER left the fenced-in area since Dog Guard installed our underground fence.
Ervin and the Dog Guard system have been great. The install was clean and the system is running great, a year now. Our recent rescue took a little training and Ervin gave us lots of instruction and support. After a few weeks she was running freely and confidently around the yard with her older brother and sometimes we forget to put the collar on and well... she still stays in the yard even with the taunting squirrels.

I recently had the invisible fence installed in my yard. It has changed so much with my dog Tessa, a Golden Bernese. She is happier and I am happier because she has room to run and explore. She is two years old and has lots of energy. Ervin was prompt in returning my calls. We have a chocolate lab with a lot of energy and we were very skeptical that this system would work, especially when we’ve tried other collars at the highest setting that didn’t even get our dogs attention. Erin was quick and reliable reasonably priced .The best way to protect your dog / cat to stay within the boundaries of the yard. I would hire Erin again for another fence. Erin made sure that my dog knew where he could go and not. One flaw is if a dog is on dead run it does not stop any dog . But I give Dog Guard 100% my next business.

We have used Dog Guard for 15 years and love it, we used it for 2 medium size dogs with great results over the past 15 years. Anytime we had an issue it was taken care of quickly, the issues were minor such as batteries, transponder, receiver, the later 2 have life time warranties so no charges. Soon we will be bringing home a new puppy and wanted to change the layout of the dog roaming area in our yard, I contacted Dog Guard and 1 day later Ervin showed up and took care of all our needs and made some great suggestions. Also very good with my golden doodle as far as training. Pleasure to do business with Ervin. Would recommend him. That being said, have not had system long enough to recommend equipment since Ervin installed today.
So very happy we decided 1. To get an in ground fence and 2. To have it professionally installed. Ervin was very quick and accommodating with finding a day to install our fence and worked with us on where we wanted our boundaries (including through some thick/rocky woods). We have called him with questions and he answers immediately, and is quick to answer any questions or concerns we have had. After the initial 2 days of learning their boundaries, I LOVE the relief I feel to be able to let my dogs out without worrying about them running off or getting hit on the road. This was well worth the money, wish we had installed it even sooner!

Ervin exceeded my expectations in all aspects of installation of the Dog Guard system! He returned my call the same day I called him and was at our house the next morning with a proposal. He returned within a couple days to perform the installation. He was very accommodating and did the initial training of our dog, as well as told us how to do subsequent training. Within a few days, our dog was adequately trained and we removed flags as instructed. We could not be more satisfied with the service Ervin provided!

Ervin was great educating me on the fence and how to teach my dogs the boundary line. Installation went smooth, even with my rocky 3 acres that was fenced in. Ervin did a phenomenal job working with my recently adopted chihuahuas, now they can run and play without fear of the road or neighbors dogs.

EXCELLENT AND PROMPT SERVICE!!! I have a 15 year-old Invisible Fence system (Avoid Invisible Fence at all costs!) that had a break in the line so we found Dog Guard of Central PA via Google. As it turned out, they are local and family-owned and operated!!! We called late this morning and they were here by 4 this afternoon!! In the rain, they found the break, relocated the wire, repaired the break, tested all of our collars, installed flags, and helped us with the training plan for our new puppy arriving this week!!
